Other Questions
How do I know if a helper is suitable for my household?
We take time to understand your needs, routines, and preferences before recommending any candidate. You’ll only be matched with helpers who meet the criteria you’ve shared—so the decision is always informed and intentional.
What nationalities do your helpers come from?
We recruit from Indonesia and the Philippines, working with licensed training centres that prepare helpers for life and work in Singapore homes.
Can I choose between new helpers and transfer maids?
Yes. We offer both overseas and transfer helpers. Each comes with its pros and considerations, and we’ll advise you based on your needs and timeline.
How long does the hiring process take?
For overseas helpers, the average timeline is 6–8 weeks. Transfer helpers already in Singapore may be placed within 1–2 weeks, depending on readiness and documentation.
What if I’m worried about hidden costs?
All costs—agency fees, MOM charges, insurance, medical, etc.—are clearly explained from the start. You’ll never be surprised by hidden charges.
Do I need to handle MOM paperwork myself?
No. We manage all required documentation, submissions, and formalities, ensuring full compliance with MOM regulations.
Is medical screening included?
Yes. All helpers undergo medical screening before placement, as part of MOM’s standard requirements.
What if the helper isn’t a good fit after starting work?
We’ll step in immediately to mediate and carefully resolve concerns where possible. If the issues persist, we’ll support you through the entire replacement process within your service coverage.
Will the helper know what to expect when she arrives?
Yes. Helpers are briefed before deployment and prepared through basic training. We’ll also guide you on setting expectations early for a smoother working relationship.
Can I interview the helper before deciding?
Yes. You’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with shortlisted candidates before making any decisions—via video call or in-person where applicable.
What should I prepare before the helper arrives?
We’ll provide a clear checklist covering the essentials—living arrangements, work expectations, and onboarding tips—to help your helper settle in confidently.
